Women & Whisky
Women have often been overlooked in the whisky industry, even though they are and always have been an integral part to its existence.
With my final MA project I wanted to collect general information about whisky as well as showcase the role of women in its history. The resulting magazines inform, educate and hopefully excite its readers for the world of whisky. And maybe they’ll inspire some women to make a first step into the whisky world.

The final result were three magazines with different focuses:
Documentation of Theoretical Research
Photographic Documentation of Distilleries in Scotland
Results of the Opinion Poll asking Women about their Experiences with Misogyny in the Whisky World.
Additionally I produced postcards with infographics and illustrations as well as photographs from the distilleries and Scotland.
